The Doc Tribute
A personal statement from Angie Powers-
Southworth Clinic was originally opened by Dr. Patricia Southworth; she owned and operated the practice for over 10 years, her only goal, to advocate for her patients and get them the treatment they needed. She wanted her practice to be more than a medical office; she wanted it to be a family. I personally worked with Dr. Southworth for 10 years; proudly being a part of that family. The practice was taken over after her passing by Regional Occupational Health Clinics, LLC. The new owners knew Dr. Southworth both personally and professionally. When they decided to take over her practice they wanted to show their respect for the woman we had all known and loved; therefore, the clinic continues to operate under the name, Southworth Clinic.
Our new owners wanted to be sure patients had the same kind of practice and physician they had come to love; asking the staff to stay and bringing on Dr. Steve Kaz as the medical director and staff physician. Dr. Kaz was raised in Clark County and has the same commitment to his patients. He also is a patient advocate and devoted to doing all he can to help his patients receive the treatment they need to move forward. Not only will you continue to find the family fun atmosphere all have come to know and love at our practice, new treatments, new faces and a few other nice changes will slowly be integrated into the practice as well. Don’t worry, the commitment to being patient advocates remains the same. When you become of patient of this practice, you become part of our family.
We will always smile, joke with you, ask about the family and share about ours. You will never feel like you are at just another medical office, because you are not; you are at Southworth Clinic, a family that just happens to be a medical office.
If you are searching for an occupational health clinic in Ohio then look no further.
Come on in and welcome to the family.
